1. HELPS YOU RAISE CONSIDERABLE SUMS OF MONEY FOR CHARITY
We are helping over 200+ charities raise hundreds of thousands and these figures are constantly growing. We make sure we match your donations to the right event so that the most amount of money is raised. Our prize placements often achieve 2, 3 and 4 times their market value at auction!
If you have a preferred charity you want to support then no problem, we will make sure your donations go into auctions which will directly benefit your specified charity.

If you would like to target a specific audience demographic or geographical area then we would be able to accommodate this when placing your donations into events. 3. PROVIDES ANNUAL REPORTS ALLOWING FOR STRUCTURED DONATION
A detailed report is provided by Charity Escapes to all donors showing which charity each donation has supported and how much was raised, along with the reach on social media each prize achieved and also how many people attended the event where the prize was sold at auction or raffle. This helps to give you a clear picture of the impact your donations are making e.g. Nobu Hotel, Ibiza donated seven 3 night breaks which raised £18,627 for charities across the UK and achieved a social media reach of 235,000 people.
4. PROVIDES PROFIT OPPORTUNITIES VIA NEW CUSTOMERS AND SECONDARY SPENDING
The winners of your donations are likely to secondary spend at your venue when they claim the prize e.g. if they win a hotel stay they are likely to use the bar, restaurant, spa or leisure facilities. There is also the opportunity to generate new customers, not just the prize winner, but also their friends and family who they may want to take with them to the experience/hotel stay. In the past we have had numerous occasions where the prize winner has taken their friends or family with them.
5. HANDLE ALL INBOUND CHARITY DONATION REQUESTS
We know that you probably receive a lot a donation requests from numerous charities, both regional and national. These can be time consuming and tricky to deal with as you want to make sure the donations you do give are placed into the right event i.e. so they raise the most money. We already handle the donation requests for some of our hotels and restaurant partners so all you’d need to do is forward the request to us and we will deal with everything…it’s as easy as that.
6. OFFERS YOU INTRODUCTIONS TO CHARITIES LOOKING FOR NEW EVENT VENUES
We have a large database of regional and national charities that we work with across the UK, a lot of which host large charity events each year and are on the look out for new venues. We are happy to suggest using your hotel to our charity partners who are organising their next fundraiser.
7. MAKES AVAILABLE A WIDE SELECTION OF PRIZES FOR EVENTS YOU ARE ALREADY HOSTING
If your hotel/venue is hosting any charity events then we have a wide variety of prizes which could help them to raise even more funds. From afternoon teas, bowling experiences, meals at high end restaurants to UK hotel breaks, cottage escapes and 5* European getaways, we are confident we can find the right prize/s.
8. GIVES YOU ALL OF THIS AT NO COST – OTHER THAN THE DONATION ITSELF
Unlike many commercial organisations which are used by charities across we do not charge you or the charity for your prize donation. All we ask when we provide a prize is for 20% (including VAT) of the total raised to come back to us in order to help cover our reasonable costs.
The only cost involved is the donation itself – but taking secondary spending, targeted marketing at events and knowing you are helping a whole host of causes into consideration makes it worth it!
9. MAKES YOU FEEL GOOD!
Helping good causes to raise the vital funds they need to carry out their work is a really great thing to do! We always set a minimum bid on a prize based on its value, to make sure your prize raises the most amount of money for charity. Charities struggle to find great prizes for their auctions and we make it easier for them. By donating a prize, you are also making their lives easier so that they can spend more time focused on their important work.
10. DONATIONS MAY PROVIDE UK TAX RELIEF AGAINST VOID COSTS
When you donate a hotel room to charity you may be able to offset the void cost and reduce your tax liability. Please ask us for more details.
