4. PROMOTES YOUR CHARITY ACROSS SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS
We love to shout about our charities and our donors because we are so proud to be working with both. The Charity Escapes Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn pages are full of posts about the charities we are working with and the incredible events they are hosting. We do case studies about the events we are involved in which get posted on our website and then receive further shout outs on social media. We just cannot stop telling everyone about all of the amazing causes we are working with!
5. INTRODUCTIONS TO EVENT VENUES AND CORPORATE COMPANIES
A lot of our donors are hotels based across the UK and these hotels could be the perfect venue for your fundraising events. We are more than happy to provide introductions to the hotels which you think would be the best fit for your event…and if you’re unsure about which hotel to use then we are happy to help you choose.
6. HANDLE ALL BOOKINGS AND COMMUNICATIONS WITH PRIZE WINNERS
Once you’ve chosen your perfect prize/s we will send over a prize pack in an email. Part of this prize pack is a certificate for the winner which has all of the details about making their booking. This means that once the winning bid is in you simply give this certificate to the winner and we will sort everything out from there…no stress and no fuss.
7. ENSURES THERE ARE NO HIDDEN FEES OR CHARGES TO YOU OR THE WINNER
When we provide a prize to a charity event, all that we ask is for is 20% of the total our prize/s raise/d to come back to our foundation. We are not a commercial business and our founder covers all of our costs. The 20% that we ask for is a contribution to our Foundation which exists to make grants to other UK charities. All money raised is 100% donated to good causes.
There are no hidden fees or extra costs, all of the prize T&C’s are clearly set out in the prize pack and in the unfortunate event of the prize not reaching the minimum bid there are absolutely no costs involved we simply offer the prize to another charity. Whether the prize reaches the minimum bid or thousands more we only ever ask for our small percentage, which means your charity raises more money!
8. OFFER REALISTIC AND FAIR MINIMUM BIDS
Every prize we provide has a minimum bid set on it which must be reached in order for the prize to be sold. This minimum amount is set at the market value of the prize in order to make sure the prize is raising at least its worth. This makes it mutually beneficial for both the donor and the charity as a fair amount is guaranteed to be raised for each prize placed.
9. QUICK AND EASY APPLICATION PROCESS
It just takes a couple of minutes to apply for a prize. All you have to do is fill out our Application for Prizes form on our website telling us a little bit about your charity and your event. Once this is done we will be in touch to see what we can offer…it’s as simple as that.
10. HAS A FAST TURNAROUND FOR PROVIDING THE PRIZE TO YOUR FUNDRAISING EVENT
Once you’ve filled out the form and we’ve had a quick chat about your event, we can tell you then and there what we are able to offer.We then give you 14 days to go away and discuss this with your team but if you need a prize quickly, we can offer you one there and then.
